I just love hearing the language development of the boys and the cute ways they come up with to say various words. Here are my current favorites.
Isaac:
Gluggley-eyes (on using google-y eyes when we are doing crafts)
Africuts (referring to apricots but perhaps incorporating his love of discussing continents)
Quarters (the pieces of puzzles that have two straight edges; he cannot be convinced that they are
called corners)
Luke:
gup buk (use the shwa sound in there and you have how Luke says "dump truck")
faffe and uppo (giraffe and hippo)
Whenever we ask Isaac what Daddy does at work all day long, he responds, "He makes things happen!" (We never taught him that! I don't know where they get it!) :)
The other funny thing Isaac does regularly is ask Luke if he can say something. The other day Isaac had do go #2 on the potty and we were discussing it's looser texture (too much information?... just wait, it relates to the story). We were walking down the stairs and Isaac says to Luke, "Luke, can you say Loose Poop?" to which Luke responded, "Yoo Poo".
Gotta love it!
