We spent just a little under a week at the cabin over the 4th of July... It was just enough time to pack in some great memories and family fun. Here are a few of the highlights...
** The first annual participation in the Ely 4 on the 4th Run/Walk: 5 walkers, 1 runner, and 3 riders. It was a lot of fun, minus all the mosquitoes and I think everyone is willing to give it another shot next summer too!
*Fishing, fishing, and more fishing... and even some catching and eating!!
** Awards for overall cuteness in life jackets go to Isaac and Luke.
** Boat trips... maybe there should also be awards for cuteness on boat rides too!!
** Naked water play on the porch to cool off...
** Swimming in the lake - Isaac started the weekend with immediately upon arriving at the cabin requesting to swim. Both boys were jumping off the dock like pro's in no time and both even could climb up the ladder to get back out again! They amaze me!
** Everyone needs down time at the cabin too. Doing some chillin', reading, playing with the cousin, etc... Clothing optional.
