The CBB!

Definition of CBB:
  1.     Colorado Birthday Bash
  2.     Cold Bottled Beer
  3.     Could've Been Better
  4.     Couldn't Be Better
  5.     Cute Biking Boys (Ken and Don? Or maybe Ike and Lou...)
  6.     and many more I can't remember...
The Avon portion of our Colorado vacation was definitely a good time for all of us.  I still find it amazing that we were able to find a time for all four sisters (and spouses), two uncles, an aunt, all the grandkids, and the patriarch and matriarch (do you like that new title, Mom and Dad?) to all meet for a vacation.

There are so many highlights and funny moments that it will be hard to condense it all into a single blog entry... but I am up for the challenge.  (And of course, it will mostly revolve around what we captured in pictures so if you thought something was fun but it didn't make the entry, it's probably because we didn't photograph it!)  :)

Here are the highlights -
*A chance meeting of most of the family for lunch in Vail after visiting the Vail Farmer's Market

*Luke enjoying some crackers and playing with toys in our beautiful room at the Westin Riverfront Resort

*Family bike trip to Edwards - uphill both ways!! (Ken and Don, where are your biking shorts?)

*We loved it so much we decided to do it a second time two days later, this time bringing Dad along.  We stopped along the river to take a photo and put our feet in the water.

*Luke eating corn on the cob for the first time - and loving it!

*Sisterly bonding over margaritas in Avon. (Liz was there too - she took the picture!)

*Veggie Tales anyone?  Cousin bonding time looked a little different than sisterly bonding time...

*Guys trip to a brewery in Edwards, with a "little" beer tasting.

*A day trip to Breckenridge... the boys look sooooo excited!

*Riding the Alpine slide were Barb, Don, Heather, Liz, and Ken.  In this photo you can see Isaac running up to Heather to greet her at the bottom.

*And so many other memories, laughter, and fun that can't be contained in a single blog entry.  We only hope that we get to do it again sometime soon!
