Making Apple Sauce

What is a trip to the apple orchard without a little homemade apple sauce?  The boys helped me cook up a batch of apple sauce from our apples.  Here they are working hard to grind the cooked apples using the Foley Mill.  (Did I spell it right, Mom?)

First we take the apples and we grind them!!!!

 

Then, we take the apples and we EAT them!!!! Yummy homemade apple sauce from apples we picked ourselves... Are we pioneers or what!  (Maybe not)  :)
